Silly Question maybe but , how do i actually open a save with the BETA editor ? i dont seem to be able too open of the .dat files i extract from my D3RoS save (Xbox360). Thank you

everytime i try to load a folder i get a progress error (Unhandled Exception)

in the folder i have as follows;

account.dat
profile.dat
prefs.dat
d3save
and my heroes folder...

what is it im doing wrong ?

So I finally got the save to decry but now any time I edit anything in the editor nod put save back on ps3 it says it's corrupt and yes I encrypted the save again and all I edited was the para level,blood shards I was para level 7500 witch I hex edited my self and only added 1000. Also I had 114 blood shards tried to put 414

Forgot to add that I did save a few times in the editor any ideas as to wat I'm doing wrong

 

Maybe try a other version of the program like i do ;-)

 

I tried that too it won't even let me open the save in any of the alpha editors for some reason I can only open in the beta verso not sure why...

Also has anyone been able to do horadic caches yet

 

That's what's up now if I could get my save to stop corrupting and edit those and blood shards..I also need mates too I'm kinda having a hard time with this editor to be honest tho it seem like a great editor

 

How do I add items without the Database being live? I keep trying to add items and change their GBIDs but its not allowing me to.

And now I got kicked from Document with GBIDs. Was trying to see which items were still needing as I have farmed a lot of the class sets including The Slanderer and know someone with Little Rogue which are supposedly the rarest set in game.

What Files do i need to have in the folder for the editor to open it ? (Xbox360)

 

lol I'll tell you what, change paragon to 9999 then kill one monster to get to 10000 then save.
Open in editor change 10000 to 99999 then back in game. The game should load fine. Then kill one monster to get to 100000 then save.
Back to editor again now change 100000 to 999999. Back in game, kill one monster and BOOM! There you have it. Paragon 1 million

The problem is the byte size. You have to do add one digit at a time and not jump from 1-1 million

 

Take the d3save file out and it will work

 

So if the culprit is "Too much data" then we will never go beyond 10k, right? Because it's "unfixable" right?

 

I know how you feel man I'm having the same trouble too. I've even tried replacing all the files to see if I was missing something but it still corrupts on load. I used alpha 5-7 with no luck yet I'm figuring I'm just changing the wrong thing but I can't figure out exactly which area for the paragon you're suppose to mod.I've tried modding it to 1,000 without the raw tab which was said to be possible but it still corrupts for me I'm starting to think it's horizon being a pain.

 

For change paragon level when you load you'r save with the editor, go to Account and change the paragon level there and only there, save acount a lot of time, and after check your files for see if the change are save (reload with editor for see if the paragon level have change) put the account.dat on your D3save with horizon and rehash and resign and put the save on your usb drive normally its ok ... (very important to save a lot of time...)

so when the 5th comes and the database is ready does this mean we can just add in items directly to our inventory? just like the old diablo 2 save editors?
