OUTDATED: ViperX420's RoS Tutorials and CKY DIIIRoS Editor News

First of all, a BIG thank you to CKY and everyone's time and effort to put this together. I'm on Xbox 360 and using v1.3.16.121. The first time I used it, it worked perfectly. However, after when I try to load my save I get the error "You forgot to compress 1st layer \r\n use BSD/Horizon to decrypt both layers". Half of my heroes do load and I am able to modify them just fine. I just can't get to the other half. I am using Horizon to extract all my hero data. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

 

I'm trying to export a save with hellfire amulets to PS4, but whenever I add the amulets It corrupts the data which will not allow the transfer. Is there a way around this? I remember reading you could add the amulets to a save and then export it to PS4.

 

I have xbox 360 and the mod doesnt work for me, when im saving its save but in the game its normal, and when i open with the editor again after i get into the game its show me that the items are like what i did but in the game there is nothing.

please help me.

 

i have no problem with modding HEll-amulet and exporting it to ps4 but I have problems with blade of prophecy (legacy).

 

Just wanted to say a big Thanks to everyone involved in creating this tool. Watched the videos and started to create my own modded items.

 

@Tiger2013 What are you using for the properties of the item? Are you changing it to legendary and enchantable? or leaving it alone?

 

Anyone able to help with this? It seems to be stopping halfway while loading (possibly one of the hero files got messed up during last edit?) preventing the load of the others. Like I said though, I can edit the ones that do load just fine.

Also, if someone can check the database items are being pulled from. The armor value for three items I'm trying to add are coming up drastically low, by a whole digit - Sunwuko's Crown, Sunwuko's Balance, and Sunwuko's Paws. Thanks again for any assistance.

 

do you have a new character on your save file

 

No I don't. It seems to stop at one of the ones I edited the first time. However, I did try to add a new one after to see if it would let me. I can't even add a new one since it stops and can't get to the new one, or the last few existing ones at that rate. Of course I've deleted any new heroes, both on console and the data files, until I can at least gain access to the existing ones.

 

usually when that happens is when u start a new toon and dont get it to level 2 before u edit it its weird that it continues to do that maybe a file got corrupted and didnt remove u xbox or ps3

 

I'm Xbox. I'm wondering if when I edited one of my existing heroes the first time, then it got corrupted (or I did something wrong) which then started the error since. Is there any way to resolve this?

 

I have been following the guides and TUT, made multiple copies of the game to do test experiments. My editing was just my names for my characters but it wouldn't let me change it. Well it did but whenever I loaded the game, all my character is corrupted. So I personally think editing your character is patched.

 

put all your good stuff in the stash and delete all but 1 toon see if that helps

problaly didnt encrypt save before loading to your xbox or ps3

 

I followed the directions, I hit save all characters then encrypt then loaded my game

Have Been Trying to Mod Stats for a Grip now. Tried almost everything. Wish a Developer would drop some information out of the sky on what values are used for UNKNOW tab in CKY. or Hex value codes for Editor SE, or HEXED values. Tried almost everything, would love help from the people that know. You Guys Rock for what you have done already I don't ever loose track of that!!

 

im xbox too, if you edit the first time and you wanna edit again you need to open the game with other xbox profile, you need to do this again and again to see the edit.

 

what can be modded in the unknown tab is exposed anything else will just crash your game

 

That's how some people I know did it, but of course keeping it a secret. I'm on Xbox. I figured out today that I can add values to certain slots with out crashing the game. I also emailed a couple developers who said you can do it under that. If I can't then how do I do it. I got into the hex but didn't know what string to look for or what values to change. This need to happen lol

 

OK, I'll assume your on RoS because you are on the RoS thread..
In the RoS game there is a way to apply points to stats..

Do you know how to apply points?

I'll Assume the answer is YES..
After you apply 1 Point to any field Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Vitality, Attack Speed ETC.. you can then go into the editor and look in the unknown tab there will be NAMED Items that are not numbers anymore these are the values you are looking for...



If you are not on RoS and just playing D3 With out removing the patch you are SOL...

If you remove the game patch then you can edit the values in the raw tab not in the unknown tab...
