fair enough mate, from out little discussion earlier, think we each took each other out of context a little. but all good, thanks for the help anyway and those links to your PC toons, especially liked that Wiz of yours i highly recommend if you find the gear, go cold on your DH. its sooo awesome. i flew home yesterday arvo and went and tried it out myself. my reason for asking before trying, was that in the event someone knew the answer already, would have saved me the time of testing and trying. no it isnt hard and doesnt take long, but hey if someone had already taken that step and found that answer for me, or by chance you already knew the answer, well the old saying if you dont ask you'll never know.

also thanks for the response ryuhayabusa, i went and added the Krider with nothing and it spawned with nothing, proving those guaranteed rolls in-game are not actually hard coded.

anyway to help clear up some transitional questions to patch 2.1 .. this is from my knowledge on PC. i doubt console is different

leg gems - they get upgraded via Urshi once you complete a Greater Rift (grift). you choose between either leveling up a gem (can apply 3 levels per gem, with varying chance of successful upgrade based on gem level and level of grift), or if you completed the GRIFT within the time limit, you can level up your keystone to the next GRIFT level. i dont think this could ever be coded in as an item affix? the gem levels i mean. for once, something has to be done the old fashioned way, hard work.

2.1 item upgrades/affix updates - the set item changes, such as the Firebirds update for example, are retroactive. meaning your current items will update their affixes with the patch. also, all 2-handers will get the damage uprade retroactively. big boost for 2h. however items like Leoric's Crown, Etrayu. etc wont, you will have to add the new versions in, or now you will have to find them yourself.

rifts - now cost 1 stone per rift. so you're laughing if you gave yourself hundreds like i did. T6 rift guardians will almost always drop a trial keystone for a grift. so soon you will have plenty of those too, no real need to edit them in.

bounties - depending on whatever version of 2.1 we got, currently on PC all T6 bounty caches are guaranteed leg drops. the leg itself, is RNG. Google to see what caches drop what.

ubers - the guys that drop the parts for the hellfire ring and now hellfire ammy. current PC version, all T6 runs are a guaranteed drop for the crafting component. keys themselves are still a RNG drop from respective keywardens. this guaranteed drop from uber bosses was in a revised version of 2.1 on PC though, so consoles may not have it yet. hopefully, like me, yous just added a crapload of the components in your stash, negating the need to farm them.

the rest am sure you can figure out or read about, those are imo the main vital changes going into 2.1. obviously we would now have seasons etc. but as a seasonal character, you have to start from scratch. the bonus is the seasonal only leg items that can drop. since the editor is now down, everything will need to be earned legit going that way. its pretty fun starting again though, did it on PC and had a blast.

just stoked i went and added sockets to all my rings and ammys, and every one of my modded legs has a 265 flag so i can enchant. ready for 2.1 on PS4

i thought it was pretty cool that i searched for so long for a d3 editor finally fine this one, 5 minutes later the database gets wrecked, lol. Is there anyway to fix this ourselves, i have copies of the database but if i load the editor it just changes it back anyway or are we just meant to guess everything now?

 

i d like to understand whats happend cause sitll now i dont understand.I have this message get off my database.i cant create new itens for my char, can we fix it?

 

well thanks for all your time and effort put into making this editor. now to find one that I can use since this one is offline now

 

Hey Guys, Slightly new to the D3ROS editor and was wondering if Anyone knows why i am getting a "Get off my Database" message whenever i try and load a save file into the editor after i decrypt?? Ive tried to reload the original backup file and tried to load the new updated file but it says the message everywhere! what am i missing?? Thanks

yeah, i read and noticed but didnt really understand, so this guy who did us a huge and created, got upset today and literally shut down the editor?? or am i missing something? Cause i literally downloaded the editor today, did my first test run which worked fine, then tried to do the same thing again and it gave me the Get off my database Message. So this had to be done by him just recently today correct??? Thanks for your response and as far as the dude who created, sorry they pissed you off and hopefully u come back around, most dont understand the bs that u have to go through to create something like this!

Hello and the D3 ROS Save Editor i got from ViperX420 seems to have stopped working. Message on Program Reads ( Get OFF MY Database) . the save editor was working fine this afternoon so why is it not Now. don't understand Message about GET OFF MY DATABASE. Please help ViperX420 or someone who knows about the ROS Save editor Program.

 

Im wanna know too but appears that the guys dont wanna talk what EXACTLY happend.

however, just on this. been testing myself. Magefist and Maximus... they have Fire skill dmg% hard coded. i added it on as an affix in the editor, and when i went into the game, each item had like 30% fire skill damage.

im going back into the editor to remove it, since my sole purpose here is to make legit builds to practise with for PC. but yeah haha, seems some items have hard coded stats, some dont. only way to be sure, is by trial and error and making notes. judging by those 2 items alone, i think so far its a fair bet any item that default rolls with skill dmg%, is hard coded.

the elite dmg bonus on Stone of Jordan is also hard coded, as is the Unity elite dmg bonus. so adding those in the editor will effectively give double bonus. for those that want/dont want fake stats.
