CKY, just a small question for you.

If i did read properly they said PS3/XBOX 360 won't be getting PATCH UPDATES like the 2.1 ( sorry i am pretty dumb at googling,could you double confirm this for me?)

So only PS4/XBONE will get it right? Will your editor be able to MOD PS4/XBONE save files?

If yes, i would buy a new PS4/PS4UEE just because of your editor and just because D3 is one of the best CO OP games.

 

No until the decryption keys are discovered for either Xbox One or PS4 there is no way to mod the save file directly from Next-Gen Consoles. However there is a 1 way transfer that can be done between PS3-PS4 and Xbox360-XboxOne so if you desired you could technically export the save from PS3 - PS4 premodded and it will work people are already modding on ps4 minimally due to limits atm once the encryption has been broken on next gen consoles then yes this editor will be able to edit those files as well.

Now as for the confirmation about patches on PS3 / Xbox 360 they officially announced there would be no more patches for last gen consoles so technically yes we are stuck with 1.01 patch, but we're talking about blizzard if we were to break their game enough that people started complaining they'd release a hotfix in a heartbeat. Another thing with enough public support and demand we may see at least the 2.1.0 patch on last gen if we at least get to see that patch i'd be happy cause thats the patch i want tbh there is some crazy builds you can make and new set items and legendary's to find. Not only that they added the hellfire amulet which is the best item in the game having a 5th passive ability is freaking awesome i can't wait to get my hands on one in PS3.

 

Anyone know how to edit your total XP earned and/or the amount of XP needed for the next level? My current Paragon shows 17 billion needed to progress which is way too high. I checked everything and couldn't find any fields that match the amount of XP it says I need. Even if I revert to Paragon 1, it stays at 17B needed for Paragon 2. Thank you.

 

I'm hoping for the 2.1 patch as well. A lot of the characters have been remodeled slightly to be way more fun.
Like the way how WW no longer reduces movement speed, which is going to bring back WW sprint barbs. I've still been using the ww sprint barb since ros came out, but it's not as effective because you really have a largely reduced movement speed. Also, the other classes got revamped too, so they've pretty much made every single class more fun and the Greater hell rifts are going to be absolutely amazing.

I just made myself the most op item set I've seen that look legit. I've got pieces of the Raekors set, Pull of the Earth, Ik set and all that good stuff which gives me some ridiculous bonuses. Made a TF, that's op as Flubber since my dps goes up to 1.6 million using it single handed, no gems socketed at all. Max Crit Damage( need to change that, if there was no cap I'd have like 2000% :<) need to make more crit chance I didn't do all the math. Not sure what I'm going to use as my secondary, I've been debating using a SoH, but I'm not sure.

Also, I love how the Legendary Affixes are built-in, it's the absolute best. I think that 5-10% more fire damage taken is missing, I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I'm having some trouble with the save. Adding items/weapons to the stash will not appear in the game for some reason. Am I doing it it wrong?

how high can you get the paragon before it corrupts your characters? and do you change it in the account data or the raw alt_level for each character?

 

Tbh i don't give a crap for patch 2.1.0 at all. Its proven to be garbage. Legendary gems are a waste of time, GRifts even worse of a waste of time... HURR HEY DAWG I HERD U LIEK RIFT SO WE PUT SUM RIFT IN UR RIFT SO U CAN RIFT MOAR WHILE U RIFT MOAR HURR... dunno which monkey thought GRifts up.

What I want from 2.1 are the balance fixes and skill changes, set power changes etc. I want the redesigned Firebirds Finery coz its OP, the Sentry attack speed fix (which, you'd THINK they'd fix before releasing...) etc, and the new gears, which I think we actually got some of it... Dagger of Darts and Wohjanni Assaulter exist in console 2.0.9.

The rebalances etc they don't need to give a whole 'new' patch for, so we can probably hope for something like that. But its Blizz, don't hope too much.

The ability to edit applies only to consoles. The desktop versions of the game do not use local saves to your computer due to the lack of an offline mode; it's a server/client architecture with all of your character information saved on the Battle.net servers.

According to Sony, PS3 and PS4 cross-play is technically possible BUT they left this decision up to each game developer to implement and support.

Blizzard decided to not allow cross-generation play across the same brand (thus no PS3/PS4 or Xbox 360/Xbox One cross-play for the UEE); it's not in their console FAQ but was a question answered at Gamescom.

 

hello i love the editor but i've been having some a small problem when i edit my equipment i can mod it no problem but when i try to mod gems i put in what i want then save the item this is where my problem comes in when i get into my game no stat changes at all at least from what i can tell. i put my affixs on then copy my save back but then when i copy my save from my ps3 to the editor it says there are no affixes

 

modded gems have been patch and no longer work since patch 1.01

 

How do i add an item that is not in your database id? I'd like to add the russian debug dev sword in my save. I already have the sword id but I just dont know how to add it manually

Hi Viper thanks so much for your videos and time. I am using a xbox 360, modding and then taking into ps4 but I have two questions:

1- cky editor is there a way/tutorial to add specific items instead of just using the pull down( basically under the raw tab is it possible to do the same edits as a hex editor?)

2- on xbox I have extracted my save from horizon and can edit the file in cky but how do I get to the hro file so i can edit it manually in a hex editor? I have my heroes folder and it has my heros in it but I dont see the hro file.

My goal is get a 10% cooldown on enough of my items in ROS so that I can have no cooldown at all.
