ya this guy is correct i played alot of the PC prior to the release of UEE, but i can confirm this information is completely accurate which is why my items are based or those exact stats crit hit chance caps at 75% crit hit damage caps at 900% cooldown reduction caps at 89.99% and i haven't seen a cap on elemental damage yet but these are the most important skills to PC RoS players that and increase damage to elite's was another good one alot used as well with the sun keeper at 30% and the stone of jordan which was another i think 15% maybe more i can't remember off top of head atm. then Ring of Royal Granduer with multiple set bonuses does wonder's for your build as well sets like maurader's or jades are extremely OP among other OP Torment Tier Set Items. Play around and you guy's will figure it out nicely.
Ran into that Mystic bug where the game crashes if you try to reroll anything, not a problem though as I probably messed up that weapon and I don't mind start it over. Oh and where do I go in the editor to edit Blood Shards?
I used the editor on a pre-modded save that I got off another forum. The save had 9999 Paragon levels and I wanted just around 200 so I used the editor to bring them down to that. After I did that though I can never gain XP and it's stuck at telling me I need 163,289,184,977 XP to reach the next level. I've tried everything to fix this but nothing seems to work. Any and all help is appreciated. Also I noticed the editor doesn't have Unrelenting Phalanx (Crusader Shield) and Roland's Set. I'm assuming those will be coming when the database is online?
Agreed. I think ppl got confused and assumed that the database would be online and u could only access it while you are online.
It works just fine on the original PC I decrypted it on I guess it didn't like going from Win8 to Win7 oh well Thanks for the Tip. Being at work restarting in the middle of a project wasn't conducive . This may have been answered elsewhere, so forgive my inability to locate the answer, but I've searched several times and have not found an answer that resolves my issue. First off I love this game and this program. Much thanks to the team and all their hard work. I will be donating payday Friday ^_^ I used the editor DIII ROS 1.2.14.109 editor alongside BSD 4.7 and everything worked just fine. After playing with my characters for a bit I decided to play with the editor some more. And now I am getting 2 different errors in alternating frequency. 1) Wrong group was ended. (I found a few answers to this and got it to stop happening.) and then I started getting 2) Invalid wire-type: 6 (Again I found a few similar issues and resolutions but they did not work for me.) Most of the issues seem to revolve around 2nd layer encryting and decrypting. Has anyone ran across this or found a way around these issues? I used Win 8 64-bit originally and Win7 64-bit for the failure attempts. I am going to try it again when I get home to see if its the PC I'm using, or something of that Nature. I also used build 109 yesterday and build 115 today Thanks for any responses whether it be a link in the forums or some tidbit of info I may be overlooking.
I did have that issue but I jus restarted my PC and and everything worked fine idk if you have tried that or not also had to reinstall bsd and the editor 115 revision
In BSD install folder, there is a folder called tools, inside this folder is a few game second layer decrypters rename or remove the ones that are for diablo 3 all related folders. Then right click and run BSD as administrator. If this don't fix the issue open CMD, change the directory to your BSD install path, and type pfdtool.exe or pfdtools.exe I would have to check exact spelling but you can get a dir listing and see the name. If you get an error, do what it says to fix that error and try again remembering to always run BSD as administrator.
Question is there anyway to make unidentified legendary item? It'd be easier then setting the stats myself so I was curious.
A few questions, ELEMENT% meaning Fire Skill Damage or Fire Damage? Not sure I understand the difference. Also the maximum movement speed is 25% achieved via 50 paragon points so getting items with movement speed is a waste, are there any other maximums done via the paragon system? For example, Attack Speed and Cooldown Reduction? Paragon provides +10 on each, can items exceed that limit? Thanks.
I'm enjoying the latest editor with db a lot, my only problem is that i CAN'T add any Stone of Jordan on any character, even in stash... I tried with only 3 affixes (coz it rolls 2 base affixes) and with 5 but they NEVER appear iG... No problem for other items though... Guess i'll have to be very gentle to Kadala... F**** !!
The former, fire/cold/holy/poison/lightning/physical SKILL damage. Any '<element> damage increased by <percent> affix. To be OP, you have to build so that you generally have 50-75% element damage. ie a Fire wizard will be using Cindercoat, Magefist, and have +fire% on bracers, amulet and ring. Of course this is in addition to a minimum of 40% CHC and at least 400% CHD. If you meet the above criteria, you are pretty much 2/3rds of the way to being legitimately OP. The rest is bonus damage like +skill% damage for your specific chosen spender. Then the rest is having 'increases damage to elites'. If you can get 50% increased damage to elites, about 30% +skill/spender% damage, 50-75% +element% damage and 40% CHC, 400% CHD, you are legitimately OP. The latter, <element> damage, only appears on weapons. You'll get a roll of X-X <element> damage, which is actually meaningless for the most part, so don't really fuss this. It does not gain as much benefit from the +element% but it does benefit, every little bit counts but don't stress it too much. ASPD and CDR from Paragon levels cannot be exceeded by paragon points, but they are essential when trying to achieve certain caps, depending on what class. Items will add to it. However remember that CDR is NOT multiplicative, it is additive. Achieving over 50% CDR is extremely difficult and only ONE class (Crusader) needs exactly 56% CDR. For the rest, don't bother.
your 2 errors were due to using bruteforce 4.7 most people who use 4.7 don't realize they added a useless second layer button which is not needed what so ever its useless unless your gonna do hex editing which is no longer nessessary. Simply delete the diablo 3 folder located inside the tools folder inside bruteforce and it'll forever get rid of that nasty second layer button so you never have to look at it again and never face the save error ever again. Now with your windows 7 problem did you remember to install the runtime package? if not grab it here direct from microsoft. http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb50pro/utility/1/win98/en-us/msvbvm50.exe
For anyone wanting to add an RORG... RORG has a sanity checker built into the game as Blizz knows how important it is. Its preventing you from making a bullpoop rolled one. Oh, and you can be as nice to Kadala as you want, RORG does not drop from her, it is an Act 1 Bounty only reward which is another load of ****... Here are the rules: 1) RORG can only roll 4 affixes, or 3affix + 1 socket (this isn't 2.1, socket is worthless) 2) One of the affixes must be a main stat UNLESS you want to use a 'weaker' affix, such as ASPD or CDR, or RCR. 3) The 'best possible' RORG is a trifecta roll (Main Stat, ASPD, CHC, CHD) 4) CHC must be 5.0% to 7.0% range... sorry, no 14% CHC allowed. 5) CHD must be at best 44-50% range. You can try the 'slightly higher' ones ie 61% etc which will allow a higher CHD roll as long as you don't overshoot the checker. tl;dr = RORG is only allowed to be something that will ACTUALLY DROP FOR REAL in live. It must have exactly 4 affixes. On live, RORG will always roll LoH and ASPD as a default. The 'best possible' legit roll will have Main Stat, ASPD, CHC, LoH. Then you'd roll away the LoH for a trifecta. Otherwise roll the LoH to elemental damage, which is also possible.
^ have you tested this? Coz I have 5 RoRGs, each has main stat + ias, CC and cd plus a socket. They work and show up. I also took away the level requirement so they work straight away. Can't remember now or double check, but I issues the 82-90% crit dmg range and it worked. Otherwise, the editor allows you to mod in the A1 horadric cache required for the drop. Just remember to change any cache legendary level to 70, since the items inside a cache roll at the level the cache was obtained, no matter what. Even if you get the cache @ lvl 69, then level up to 70, cache items are all lvl 69. Edit: before you ask, I added the socket since patch 2.1 may come to ps4, which is when I make my final mods and then export over. Will need sockets then
Yeah you're on PS4, you get 2.1 so a socket is worth a damn, lol. I'm a PC player just messing round on X360, sockets are worthless here. I'm not sure about why yours work, I know there is some sort of a sanity checker though. Try and go too far over and it just flat out refuses to work. But if you ask what that checker EXACTLY is? NFI... What I wrote in my post is my best guess.
maybe this question has already been asked, but how do I modify gold, paragon levels, and blood shards? I'm working with someone else's already modded save file, and they had everything maxed out. nevermind...i seemed to have been blind and missed that tab.
as far as im aware they cannot be modded. crit hit chance can only legitly roll a max of 6% and crit hit damage of 50% on RINGS and 10% crit chance and 100% crit damage on amulets. Attack speed only rolls 5%-7% which is what i believe you meant. RORG does not have a sanity checker the only sanity checker is 6 affixes. Aswell according to blizzard http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/ring-of-royal-grandeur-3qRFop RORG can only roll 5 affixes but i have rolled them with 6.
