im trying to replicate an item by creating it from scratch in the editor, but when i save -> encrypt -> load save ingame its not appearing in my inventory can someone enlighten me as to why this is happening
That might make more since if it was stated that way and yes that already exist go to a friends house open the editor and go home simple..
And have u reopened the save in the editor to make sure it saved I'm jus askin cause I had a similar issue I solved mine by makin sure it saved and I happend to not be hitting the save item button when makin the new item for ex when on my monks invtory I click add new item button then make my item the way I want and then in the area where I edit affixes theirs another button that says save item but that was my issue haven't had any problems since that so I'd try re opening the save after I edit and save

Hi everybody! I have an issue with the editor...when i try to change my equipement , i can see it appear on the game's main menu but once the game loaded they just disappear ...i don't really get it
your changing it in the wrong tab i can already tell you are changing it in the visual equipment and not the inventory changing anything in visual equipment does not stay when you enter the game visual equipment is only used for trolling you can take say a sword and put in on your head and it'll look like he has a sword through his head as example but this only stays like this til you join game then its gone. you have to make the gear in the inventory tab not the visual equipment tab.
Okay i see , thanks! All i wanna do is having the best legit gear ....As far as i can see , i can't directly add new items in my inventory like the visual equipement without knowing the affixes...or can I ?
All the gbid's and affixes have been added to the database if you want to make an item you need to simply choose the GBID and affixes from drop down lists to create the exact item you want. Obviously your gonna need to do some research if you want to make you items close to legit values as possible then i suggest looking at the lists on http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/ they show the stats you can get every item although they don't show all lvl 70 versions they at least give you a basic idea of the layout of affixes.
Excellent, been waiting for this! Managed to give myself a bunch of RoRG's to create my starter save. Also added a full Marauder set to my DH on another save to test M6... Works perfectly. Some of the entries in the DB aren't 100% accurate but, its still excellent work.
One thing I think is missing, is +multishot damage for demon hunter. Unless I'm blind and missed it, had a good look though. There's +multishot crit chance, not dmg though. This editor works perfectly otherwise, once you know how and can work with its quirks But if you really just want legit gear, give yourself like 50,000-100,000 bloodshards and get ready to get a thumb cramp and become bored stupid mashing X trying to roll what you want from Kadala. Can enchant that gear after too. But I warn you, for those that haven't played on PC, Kadala is a greedy *****. I've spent 7,000 shards on her so far and gotten maybe 10 or 11 legs? 4 of which were what I wanted which was very lucky.
ya a majority of our database came from kadala but we had alot of people all rolling at the same time to increase of chances of increase the database faster. Affixes aren't 100% yet we are still adding and fixing the affix half, but since we got a majority of it done we felt we had enough of it to make it public finally.
Yeah you'd think they'd buff Kadala for an OFFLINE GAME ffs. I wonder if there's a way to improve her droprate... For those who are looking for a 'general' guide to creating legit items, it's pretty much this: 1) Items GENERALLY have a maximum of 4 affixes 2) Weapons can have 4 affixes, or 3 affixes+1 socket. There are no dual sockets on weapons anymore. 3) Body items can have 3 affixes + 1/2/3 sockets 4) Pants can have 3 affixes + 1/2 sockets 5) Quivers can have 5 affixes, or 4 affix+1 socket You may think well Fecal Leaking, how do I be OP with so few affixes?! The key is ELEMENTAL DAMAGE PERCENTAGE!! The name of the game is all about 'increases damage of <element> skills by <percent>'. You want to build stacking as much of this as possible as the damage is MULTIPLICATIVE. Element% + CHC + CHD is how you be legitimately OP in RoS.
How do i unlock all acts and difficulties? Sorry I missed it in an earlier post, just tell me what number(s) means unlocked etc. I know its in the profile.dat somewhere.
