Rhythm skateboarder OlliOlli will release on PS3 and PS4 this week, developer Roll7 announced Tuesday. The fast-paced game demands rhythmic perfection from players across more than 250 street challenges, where players must ollie, flip, and grind without missing a beat. It will hit North American PSN on Tuesday and European PSN on Wednesday. The game will be ten per cent off for its first week, or 20 per cent off for PlayStation Plus subscribers. All PlayStation versions of the game are cross buy and cross save compatible, meaning users who buy one console version can play the other versions for free while retaining their progress. OlliOlli released first on Vita in January and in April it was confirmed for release on PC, PS3 and PS4. Roll7 originally intended for the PC, PS3 and PS4 releases to occur simultaneously, but it announced in June that the PlayStation versions had been delayed "a short while longer". CVG's OlliOlli review observed that "while a class act on Vita, OlliOlli feels like it was born for PS4" as "only a share button can satisfy that compulsion to flaunt your harmonic mastery of its assault courses".
