Next Xbox One Backwards-Compatible Game Arrives

    Alice: Madness Returns is the 14th game that Microsoft has added to the catalog this month alone.

    The Xbox One's backwards compatibility catalog grows again today with the addition of Alice: Madness Returns. Its arrival was announced in a tweet from Microsoft's Major Nelson.

    If you already own Madness Returns for Xbox 360, it should show up automatically in your Xbox One game library. If not, you can buy it on your console or via the Xbox.com download link below.
    Madness Returns originally came out in 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It was developed by designer American McGee's Chinese studio Spicy Horse and was published by Electronic Arts.

    January has been a busy month for the Xbox One backwards compatibility library, as Microsoft has now added 14 titles to the catalog this month.

    There are more than 300 Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. You can see a list of all the backwards compatibility games here.

    In more recent news, Microsoft announced that players collectively spent 265 million hours playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One in 2016.
