New modder here. Sorry if this has been said before. I have yet to see it browsing through posts. I made a barb following V420s tutorial videos. The Professional Russian Fast Sword will not spawn into the game. Is there something you have to do to it to get it to spawn? I also cant get anything done by right clicking. I cannot add all quests or copy and paste, for example. Thanks for your help.
Love this editor There is no better for modding ROS. CKY Nightmare and Viper are great guys and all really nice I have been using this since the early. Versions and it just keeps getting better. My characters are all 10k and past ( yes it's possible but too long to explain here) with modded gems and gear all maxed out. But it's fun to play with the ecitor and create new gear to see what can be done. Anyone needing help drop me a line I read more problems being posted here that are easy to fix, and always remember to save a back up so if save loads and says corrupted you can go back and fix it. This will save you a lot of headaches
well i got it working (my char wasnt lvl 2 >.< ) the only thing i dont get is legendary gems where can u add that max value of 4294967294? is it in an affix or something? seems the rank field isnt available in the vanila mod, so my problem is solved
Diablo 3 and Diablo 3 RoS are 2 different save files that's why there are 2 different save editors.. you must use the RoS save editor for the RoS file. If you are exporting to the new gen consoles they are not supported just because you can export them don't mean that it will work.. Take the time and write it out noting that you are on Xbox 360... This is why this community is the way it is no one is learning from one another or paying foreword the knowledge learnt...

hey guys... getting pretty familiar with the editor...and I have to say...AWESOME! Anyone else feel like a minigod creating things that end up in a game you can actually play? Heck Yes! thanks for the rings list too guys...tis very helpful when creating a new item, is it good practice to set you TIER to the best RARE version of that item? The one with the highest DPS? can someone please explain RANK a bit for me? I dont fully understand it. I see talk about RANK 9475646464 on rings or something like this...please explain a bit if you can? are their any other weapons that are able to make 13+ attacks per second, like the Professional Russians? I am on xbox 360, using Horizon to transfer saves to editor and back...I understand to replace the character files when I am done with my editing, but to change my Paragon, do I have to replace my account.dat file as well? I am currently at Paragon 201, looking to bump to 888 or so. Having a bit of an issue there. I cannot get the LOCKER to save my items either...seems to always keep the first few items I made and I cannot get them to save anymore, even though I have created a few different pieces since then. Again, do I have to replace anything other than my characters files when I am all done with the editor and using Horizon to replace? and last but not least...add me on xbox 360 so we can mail each other some goodies xbox360 - xCRUSHOWICZx thanks guys...you rock!
In most cases. Its not for rings its for legendary gems but you can try to use it on anything and if you can get it to work cool. Huh? so your just looking to crash peoples games that's cool of you.. yes. are you clicking save locker? I think you might be confused as what the locker is. and if your trying to edit your stash you should do that under the account stash that you are trying to edit...

You did that? talk to her...then trigger an ingame save like banner or something...then take you save to the computer? as for the weapon...i think it could be a few things...but its basically only about 5 steps or so, so you will be able to figure it out it helps if you post if your xbox or ps3 too.... I only know xbox stuffs lemme know before we go further boss man...unless you already got it by now...
The GPU is only told to render 60 frames per second. when you exceed that frame rate it crashes the console. If you are attacking at 13 attacks per second per second per second (Yes it stacks) you far exceed that.. So all I can tell is that you want to be a douche to everyone and crash there games.. So I state again "THAT'S COOL OF YOU" RARE 6-8 will trigger the rare name if you use the rare name selector it will give you all available rare names if you find a rare name that is just numbers report it to the project and it will get added with the full range of possibility's.
uhm I might be missing something, but is there a way to mod gems in ROS? or is it exclusively on D3V?
dang boss...i really just want my butchers carver to scream really fast, offline...ive only been in an actual live game twice, ever...i play offline with the wifey...i have no intentions of crashin consoles and whatnot...but i get it...most dudes on here prolly do stuff like that...its easy to jump to that conclusion when someone asks...but for reals...you dont have to asterisks swear and online shout at my face about it...you really were wrong in your assumptions...and it was a really simple question i asked...in what i thought was the appropriate place... so.....my bad
You may be the one and only exception, but you have to understand that everyone else that has said that same thing, have went in and crashed game after game just to be an butt hole. If i jumped to conclusions, this is why. 13.94 attacks per second with the 10% attack speed on the hero is 25 attacks per second and all you are going to do is lock up your own console. so to answer your question yes you can but you are not going to want to..

I used to use a program called cheat engine and I would change the values in my online game that Ill just call LC...my dude would attack insanely fast...I leveled way too quick tho, got noticed by the brass...and got banned lol! so ive learned my leasson so any gem that we mod will have its regular affix + the one we add to it? I have a few from a friend and they give the basic stat plus 1 other add-on. Examples are Crack, Lightning, Hungering, FRR, FRD. Question....do you kno if these gems were made with his editor? I ask because of the process involved in actually putting a gem into your gear is like 5 steps, just want to know if its the same. Currently I have to make sure I dont have any of the same gem in my inventory....if i want to socket 3 spot...I need to drop 3 seperate gems onto the ground....pick up one, socket it....pick up one, socket it...pick up one, socket it... do you think this is the same process for gems edited within CKY editor?
Yes its the same processes. Yes you can make them in the editor alone how ever its a lot easier to start in game and finish in the editor..
sweet...thanks again Ive also noticed that when I add att speed % to some other items...it doesnt seem to have an effect on my stats...in fact...i use regular weapons, not pro russians, and no matter what...it seems that my paragon 10% is the only thing that registers when I look at my char stats. am i missing something? Ive also noticed another guy had diffrent wings then I do...his looked big and golden. I can add the Angelic Wings via Cosmetics, and the Liber canis...the other cosmetics dont seem to transfer over for me...i assume they are maybe for D3 only? I came into the game at ROS so I dont know how passed items look. Any ideas or help would be awesome.
For modding gems insert them into the gear, bring the char. To the editor, then add 1 affix to each gem. To make a regular sword fast(er) just make the gem affix be attack speed or attacks per second for all of your gear. Also, I think you see a better dps increase using a good mix of crit hit chance and or damage to cap each out, and weapons that summon pets are a nice boost too, especially when they hit 5x per second. The russian sword is way over rated. 13 hps is way overkill. Even on t6, youre better off gearing for survivability. Id trade 1 hit kills away to not get 1 hit killed myself 2 or 3 hits per second is plenty fast, especially for a 2 handed weapon. And frees up a lot of affixes for resists/mitigation and regen type stuff One more thing, if you go with any kind of pet class or summoning weapon, tasker and theo gloves and/or other pet-based dmg/atk speed modded gear does wonders for your actual dps
To do this with equipment and/or affixes that is next gen only, use last gen gear per slot, socket gems in game, then in the editor change the items id and affixes to the next gen stuff you want for the slot. The gems will remain socketed to that piece of gear. Then simply reload save then export/import to next gen
