Hmm. Problem: If for example I have a sword with 3 gem sockets and have a diamond in each socket, when I go to the editor and try to add an enchant property to each socketed gem, damage in this case, I get an unhandled exception error saying it's unable to insert the item in that location when I try to save the gem item within the socket. Worked fine in the previous version, in fact it was the only way I could get socketed gems to take an enchant bonus. Is there a different way to accomplish this now? Edit: this is with the recently released on Jan 28th version...
Give the planed release 147RC1 a try.. I'm sure by now you have read that you need to take a gem with whatever affix you have added to it and socket it one at a time meaning only have one on you at a time..
Thank you! Tried the RC, it no longer has the exception error, but is showing some real strange behavior in how it displays the inventory. No socketed gems are displaying, some items are showing as if they were the gem which is socketed to it, and some of the items are showing completely different stats - like it is showing a clean just picked up default roll or something. Here is a screengrab of the current vers and RC side by side with the same file open to show what I'm seeing:
Have you had the game sanitize the save file? Send me your save So i can see if i can fix this.. Use the pm system here if you would like or just e-mail it to me you have my e-mail address in the license.txt file.
Never mind I think I found it. The modo of a modder if you don't break something you aren't trying hard enough...
looking at it now.. there will be a RC here in a bit.. I guess when I break stuff its good and broken.. Edit 1: Yeah your WDF1 save loaded as expected. I am playing with a few things on the user interface with the color do to windows 8 and 10 not displaying test bright enough so we will see what happens any feedback is better then me having a version in release planing for 5 weeks and not a peep out of anyone..
Just saw RC2 pop up, using it now - so far it is working just fine, editing the gems as usual. Excellent work, thanks man!
I'd say the original black is easiest on my eyes, but rc1 grey was really hard for me to read the blue text of the inv position headers. RC2 is much easier on me than rc1.
Trying out the new RC4, looking great. I see Wilken's Reach is in now along with many other things, thank you! Can finally finish my Xbone ultimate Witch Doctor now, good times........
CKY, Thanks, for a great tool. Sorry, I myself or many others that did not know where about the planed is at. That's why I asked dumb questions. Thanks for pointing it out to me and a great editor.
hello all, I've seen a couple of modified rings doing 1 billion percent damage. can anyone explain the process of archiving that kind of percentage. i spent days trying to figure it out.
LOOK stuff Version 148 has been launched there has been some updates to it please read the release notes..
Nice work, I'm still having problems bring in some of the new 2.4 rings. Ice tried everything, someone metion to me the only way you could bring them in if their accient. Idk what that even means, I'm open to any suggestions.
Sorry for the noobish question, but how can I get accient items in the editor? I just can't seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance
