The new, slimmer PlayStation Vita will release bundled with Borderlands 2 on May 6 in North America. The game by itself will release on May 13 in North America, giving those who buy the bundle a week-long head start, according to the PlayStation Blog. The new PS Vita model released in the UK on February 7 and in Japan in October. It is intended to replace the original OLED-screen-sporting version of the handheld.
