Such an awesome thing!! I'm trying to play up to 16% completed then use the save to try and not miss anything in the story. A save editor would also be nice but I'm very grateful for your work!! Thanks
please excuse me for being a complete newbie but which of the two files to I use? When I check the normal saved GTA V file it is only 1...so how do I know which one to replace and rehash?
Pretty sure it's not a negative number. It works great on my game.(!) As to a "fix", well, just restart the game on a new file. Or just reload your back up (that you made, right?) that you overwrote. Assuming you moved these files to your hdd of course. edited for clarity.
i still dont understand...and im sorry please dont flame. I remember when I did the dark souls one...it was just 1 file that need to be rehashed/saved....but with this one after unzipping there are 2 files....so which one do I choose? also can someone please clarify something. exanple when playing dark souls everytime you begin to play it would ask from where is the last saved file i.e. your HDD or USB...and I would select my usb cause that was were the saved file was....but unless I'm missing something when I start GTA it does not ask it just goes right the HDD for the save file. if thisis true, then I guess I need to replace the saved file on the HDD, correct? Also again please let me know which of the 2 saved files in the zip do I use. Thanks again for doing this so damn quick and really sorry for the newb questions
I haven't done it myself but I'm assuming it would be like other processes (this doesn't look like a game save). Plug your usb into your comp after you've moved your GTA profile to it. Open Horizon. Go to your GTA profile, click the gear icon to the top right of it (Package Manager) Go to the Contents tab You should see files in it with the same name of the ones you downloaded from the .rar Replace the files (right click the file in the list and select 'Replace') with the ones you've extracted from the .rar download Save/hash/resign (orange button) You should be good. Again, if it is replacing files this is how it is done. And as always - back up your GTA 5 profile (make a copy of it) before you try any modding.
