Sweet, finally managed to not corrupt my saves while editing. Blood shards corrupt the save right away, they work on alpha 5 still though. I've found that the best way to create items with a minimal chance for error is not to completly create a new items and copy the gbids, but find an item that's similar to what you want and then copy and replace gbids from that. It's how I managed to get my shard of hate working, just referencing what works from the battle.net page and then finding gbids for each seperate affix, like + strength and the legendary affix and pasting them in. Really sick job, using the gbids is hard if I want to change the quantity of an item or something because I constantly double check to make sure I'm not equpping 2000 versions of my helm or something, but it's still amazing.

i got it working the same way you did, just question to anyone, is the latest version able to read your save game with 1 HC hero? i got 2 heroes one with HC and other normal but the editor is crashing right away, tested with just 1 normal hero and editor doesnt have any issues, also, i cant make my normal characted into hardcore, anyone?
I'm gonna test this right now. Does anyone have the gbids for the new gem plans? I've opened like 1000 horadric caches from t6 and i've only found 1.
Hey this might be silly but does anyone have a full list of affix's also how can u tell what item is what with the code im trying to turn my crusaders gear to the set gear but cant tell whats his helm or chest piece?
full list wont be out till sept 5th u can use the old list some ros items actually work from that list u just have to go thru it manually to see what works and doesnt thats wut i have been doing
i just confirmed the issue, the editor cannot read HC character, i just created a new save game from scratch without any other character, other than the HC, the toon is just level 3 ... normal character works perfectly fine... i just wanted to create a HC toon and edit some of the gears through this editor...
I am still using the old Brute Force with D3 decoder, and hex editor. All my modded gems and 32 trait equipment are trashed when cross over to ROS, can I put a flawless royal ruby item code on a 6 trait piece of equipment and change the six stats to what I want? Making a slightly modded gem I guess, thanks.
Very good and works with out any problems as long as you read how to open your save correctly to use it on this editor.
