need info if i fill up a 500gb hdd with music and films will it work on a retail?????

    [font="'Arial Black"]title says it all really but im just wondering since i upgraded my 500gb to a 1tb hdd i have the 500 spare and i want to fill it with music and games ect but the thing im wondering will tht let me boot them from my retail does anyone no???? and if so will i have to format it to fat32 first if anyone knows the answer please let me no asap thanks as its normaly my retail i watch stuff on i no i can stream stuff on my jtag aswell because i fixed my avatars and i aint intrested in usin the external for dlc or any of tht stuff just my hdd normaly running off my laptop but to ocasionally plug in my retail to watch stuff on and listen to music and this would rock if i could do this thanks guys [/font]

    If you make a music folder you can play it from the stock nxe dash under music usb also works from mini blade while playing games.

    yeah thts wht i was wondering is tht a definate it will work like that with a 500gb and do you no would i need to format it to fat32 first m8 or could i use normal memory???? have you done this before Ed

    It will work fine mate as long as you stick the relevant movies and music in folders on the HDD ;)

    thanks guys glad to get it all sorted finaly anyway i take it if i make a folder called music and one called movies on it after i format it to fat32 i will be able to just plug in my retails usb and just boot music and films?

    ahh thanks guys nice one im just maiking sure this time cos i upgraded yesterday and when i tried to get my new hdd to load in freestyle was a nightmare cos it wouldnt show up so had to delete my data in settings and then re scan and it took 3 hours to rescan 720 gb and then after tht my external wouldnt show up in flash fxp but thnkfully i got it ok now lol think once you get your hdd going once your sweet after tht but thought i shouldnt take chances this time lol
