I may have fixed it with a system restore but I might need help just in case.

Get Malwarebytes and run a full system scan.

    You obviously have/had a virus.

Please do not screen shot it at all, thanks. That kind of thing is not allowed on these forums.

Well if you have any sniffers you can track whoever gave you the virus if your lucky anyways and the person is a skid... But yeah if you do track the guy down I would hit him with a BIOS attack that way he/she is fu**ed. But yeah.. the likelihood of that happening is low.. so yeah just be careful from now on and I would recommend learning how exactly your pc should respond to you and how fast it should be etc. If it starts slowing down or running more processes than it should be etc. then you may have a creeper either A. watching you through your camera on your laptop.. or B. have someone attacking your pc at the moment or just attempting to.. or C. You are just being paranoid (sometimes being paranoid is good as it keeps you safe.)

But yeah never download a file you don't trust and for browsers where you want to be secure I would recommend using TOR as you can download the source and modify it to your liking (I did that a long time ago xD) that way everything is encrypted and no one can see your real ipaddress as to gain access to your pc a hacker only really needs 2 things: 1. Your ipaddress 2. Your password for your pc which if you use the same password all the time then you are really vulnerable. Now you do understand how team viewer works right? It is basically a tool that allows remote control.. now hackers would make a similar tool but instead of a id and password it would be your ipaddress (gotta know the port as well..) and your password to your pc. Getting both of those things is a simple task. I would suggest you never save your passwords in google chrome, firefox etc. as hackers can steal your passwords from them.. Another thing is to just never save your passwords on your pc or anything connected to internet and to not use predictable passwords. What I do is encrypt my passwords onto a .txt document on a usb drive with a private key and when I need them I decrypt them I do so and then I type in the passwords.

it isnt necessarily a virus someone may have just changed you theme to insert random backrounds at faster intervals by simply placing the pictures in the folder where your backgrounds are stored, i h8 how everyone asumes virus when it could simply be a prank by a friend or something harmless
