can someone tell me whats the difference between this ratings editior and the slider tool everyone wants? sorry for the noob question im just curious :|
The ratings just improve your player's stats. The sliders would adjust the probability of different actions being successful in the game; i.e. adjusting the free-throw slider would increase or decrease the likelihood of success of free-throws.
3pt shooting seems too difficult on the simulation settings, too random. I've got a 94 3pt shooter who'll miss open shots with A+ grade and A+ timing.
That's because the creators purposely made it harder for users to make shoot three pointers because they thought it was too easy for us in 2k13
They should've improved defense, or make timing it perfectly more difficult, not make perfectly good shots miss just to keep the percentages down. I can have 5 perfect shots in a row miss, that's not realistic. Realistically, a good 3pt shooter will make every open shot. Way it is now is just silly... Anyways, luckily we have guys like Chrome fixing the problems the devs created.
Awesome! Looking so much forward to these as well. I like to see one for not just my player but whole team and greatness mode as well. In NBA 2K13 I remember the slider tool I had from someone else was for the whole team and not just your player you could change the sliders for the whole mode. Hopefully that is what we will see here as well.
I'm assuming there will be a full set of sliders each for the user controlled team and the cpu controlled team.

I got an error Unable to load file on Hard Drive. The saved content is damaged or unreadable. My SP amount is only 2000. I used a custom roster, but the only difference was that kobe was taken out and some overalls were changed. Was that my problem? Brand new file straight after the rookie showcase. Haven't played a game besides it. Thanks
I am so excited and looking forward to these sliders tools as well. I have stopped playing my career mode to wait on these and have been playing association mode while I wait. The sliders someone made in NBA 2K13 worked perfect and I hope these do to. Get them done quickly so we can have them. Thanks a lot and again looking so much forward to them and getting back to playing.
