Microsoft has confirmed that it's working on a fix for stuttering video playback on Xbox One, following a number of complaints from users sent to Xbox Engineering Lead Mike Ybarra via Twitter, regarding the issue. Ybarra has issued apologies for the problem and has stated that a future update is in the pipeline to rectify it."We're aware and working on this," said Ybarra in one tweet, before following up with an apology, commenting: "We'll fix soon. Sorry about this."Apparently, those affected by the video issue on Xbox One have experienced stuttering for 1-3 seconds at random intervals during Blu-ray playback, although it seemingly only happens with certain films. A temporary workaround suggested on the Xbox Forums has proved ineffective.Microsoft has also rolled out a new system update on Xbox One this week that fixes a few bugs behind the scenes on the New Xbox One Experience dashboard, but adds no new features. "A system update update for Xbox One is going out today. It’s got a few behind the scenes bug fixes. No new features though," Major Nelson tweeted.
