Looks like this may need a tweak now. The latest patch from EA "Release #3" for Madden 13 looks to have stopped the editing of the XP points. I tried the tutorial here and also the tool from another user and no luck at all. I start with 1500 and I change it to 10000 and 65000 and when I load back up it stays at 1500.


Anyone else try out the editor after applying EA's latest patch #3 release 10/16/12?

Did it work, I maybe missing something, please let me know if anyone else has this issue or if it works fine for them after applying the patch.

 

Here is a saved file that I rared up as requested, It came out at 755kb so I had to divide it into two files. It says I am only allowed 500k per file upload. Please let me know if you have any questions on this.

The Mod Tool is not working now after the latest EA patch #3 on 10/16.

Steps I do to edit XP points for CC player:

1.) I created a CC as a player and then did one practice "1500xp points" and saved it to USB stick.
2.) Then I take USB to the PC, and open the file with Horizon "Ver 2.5.2.1" and extract the file "sav" to the hdd.
3.) Then I use your tool "MADDEN NFL 13 SE ver 1.0.0.2" and check the MAX box. Saved it "rehash/resign" - No errors
4.) Then I use Horizon again, and injected it back from hdd to the USB stick. All this went fine with no errors.
5.) When I went and loaded the file in Madden 13 it loaded fine, but still showed the original xp points "1500".

I tried all the same above again and instead of checking Max for points, I did 8000 and no luck still only shows 1500.

So you need more saved games that have more XP points on them than 1500? For the info, I followed the above steps I posted, please let me know what more information you need to help you with the fix. Do you need more details in the step by step I am doing or do you need something else?


Overall after following the steps the updated XP points are not showing up in Madden 13 after the newest patch #3 is applied. After the update it seems EA made changes that effected the display and adds to XP point in CC player mode.

Not after the latest patch # 3 is applied from EA. This third patch was a monster update and fixed a bunch of issues in the game. The editor lets you modify XP points in CC for a Player. But when you launch it in the game to play and go to the points it will show the old total and not the new updated number from the editor. I am asking for others to try it after the patch and post their steps taken and what happened. Trying to give as much information to chrome305 so the fix can be applied and tested.

I am having a similar issue. The game save shows a maxed xp in the tool and has been rehashed and resigned. The game save loads properly but does not update xp within the game itself. It has the same amount of xp as before the mod. I have deleted the title patch and cleared the xbox's cache and retried. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

 

mine is not working. i made sure there was no pencil and it did not show up in my game. help.
