Madden 13 XP Modding

i originally did it on my rgh and had no problems but then i loaded the exact same save on my retail whilst connected to live and it froze (after the title update) so maybe try and load it offline then use the save and connect to live? just keep a back up of your save

Hey there. Just want to say thanks for the help so far; truly appreciated. With that said, I just tried doing this again with no live connection and once it said "file loaded successfully. Press A to continue" the system crashed. I am not sure what is going on.


BTW noticed that my modded file is 7mb and my non-modded file is only 4mb. Could this be a sign of a problem?

 

I got it to work the first 2 times i tried it but every other gamesave i've done after that keeps freezing. I disconnected from xbox live and still no luck. Can anyone help me out?

 

I would bet the update might have something to do with it. I have not been able to get the modded save to run...it is recognized and the game says it loaded succesfully, but then game freezes. I am going to delete all game files from HD and try with a vanilla "install" (not connected and no update)....

Let us know what you come up with. I removed the update, reinstalled the game, and disconnected from Live and it still would not work. Maybe you would have better luck.

 

@ xex: I uploaded a diffferent save. I can follow the tutorial fine all the way up to where Im using hex editor and tryng to find the spot to edit

xex can you do mine please? when i get to the offzip.exe part, it says zlib z data_error the data in the file is not in zip format or uses a different windowsbit value (-z). try to use -z -15 1358884 --> 5994453

Hey folks, quick question. I modded to 65,535 points - this was the result of FF FF edit of the original 2k points I had. I went in and simmed a week and now have 65,537. I am having a hard time finding the hex value for 65,537. What is it? Should I now be using Raw / Long as opposed to Raw / short?

you guys i want the unmodified save, just pull it straight off your usb, dont extract it from the container... dont run it through offzip etc....

hey i know people are having alot of problems with this because he didnt explaine it good when extracting the 0000050 file

hes an example

offzip {option} input output offset (so this it what it looks like then is done

offzip.exe -a C:\Users\Jerry\Desktop\1\Career.sav C:\Users\Jerry\Desktop\1 0

at the very end you will see a 0 that's your offset
