Madden 13 XP Modding

Could uI help me out with the xp mod for madden 13, I have vista so I can't get the ea files to work, and in hex editor I put in my xp value but I'm finding 6 instances...really need help

 

I think i figured it out DanDeg380 - it seems you get one shot at the process and then its no good. I use Horizon's Package Manager tool to extract the save file...then run the offpack on the extracted file, edit with HexWorkshop and then re-pack with packzip....rename the file and use the resigner...as long as i don't stop it will work What i am seeing now is that the process is just not working for me...i was using an existing coach and even though i located the xp offset at 0007304A (done by comparing several saves with different xp amounts - this location was consistent in all the saves), change the XP to F230 (which is 62,000 as a RawHex Unsigned Short) and package everything back up, the save will load, but it hangs the game. I am thinking at this point that the OP process will only work for a created Player, but will have to test that out.

so after you mod the points and you run out can you add more again or is it a one time deal cuz after i added the extra ff it doesnt seem to change or do i have to change that back to 00 save gain some experience then change it back to ff hope that makes some sense

I have followed this tutorial to a T many times over and my game instantly hangs the moment it goes to load; no matter what I do. I am editing the correct XP and everything but it refuses to load and hangs up my XBOX. Does anyone know why it does this?

OH...I have 9,675 XP as a COACH...NOT A PLAYER.

Would that make a difference?

 

the Coach Xp is at a different offset to the player. are you connected to live as well?

 

I can get this to work on a created player, not a coach, gameface, or existing player.

I have been able to mod multiple times, e.g. bring up several stats till I'm low on points, then add more points, level up some more.

It works fine, but the wideout I tried it on would hang up the game even if I'm sure I was doing the process correctly.

Keep in mind I was running off of the early release only, and have not gotten the game yet.

 

@koumori00 : hey reupload your save, it looks like you may have extracted it from the container already... just pull it srtaight from the usb and post it again.

In reply to Romanzad, yes I am connected to Live. I did the decimal to hex conversion and searched for it and changed it but still, no go. Maybe the live connection is ruining it - some sort of check and balance.

 

Hey, I am connected to XBOX Live and was going to try doing this one more time without being connected. Maybe there is some sort of checks and balances system that prevents cheating, but I am not sure.
