26 teams from the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden and the rest of Europe went head-to-head for a chance to represent their country at the Call of Duty® Championship, presented by Xbox being held 28th-30th March 2014 in Los Angeles for a share of the tournament’s $1 million total prize purse. Hosted by Activision Publishing in partnership with Gfinity, TCM Gaming from the UK & ROI were crowned the Call of Duty European Champions, picking up the €15,000 prize pot in a tense final match with Epsilon eSports. In addition to TCM Gaming and Epsilon eSports, TEC: Intensity and Team Orbit made up the top four teams from the UK & ROI to qualify for the global Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox – the first competitive prize tournament to be held on Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft – at the end of March in Los Angeles. Over the last month, more than 500 teams across Europe competed for a spot in the European Championships. The best teams from the Call of Duty European Championships will face-off against the world’s best players in California at the global Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox.
