    not sure mate if you have an external give it a try and post back if it works ill add it to the list or if youre using your laptop try the d/l drive in that .

    Just patched a Sony DRU-840A sucessfully with the burnermax payload tool v0.15. Got Burnermax IS enabled ! Free Space: 8,738,897,920. :D Woo hoo! No need to buy an iHas124 B off some scam artist for $90. The Sony drive has a 2mb cache. The drive is a PATA aka IDE drive which I don't mind since I have an old PC with PATA. I guess the older DVD burners were mostly 2mb due to the underpowered CPUs and slow hard drives of the time. If someone needs one for burning xbox games, there are a few on ebay for $20 free shipping. Just get a PATA/IDE to SATA converter. I got one for $3 from Hong Kong on Ebay. I have a couple other PATA DVD burners that I need to dig out of my silicone hoard and test. I do have a SATA Asus DRW-24B1ST that I got from Newwgg in October 2012 and it was a rev. C with only 1.5mb cache. I also ordered a Lite On iHas 124-04 from newegg in January 2013 hoping for a B or D and I got, of course, a C which has a 1.5mb cache. I wouldn't look to newegg for a burnermax compatible drive, almost all their 2mb cache drives are "discontinued".

    Oh my bad $14.99 so even cheaper lol I'm half tempted to go buy the lot of them when I get paid cuz I did buy the overpriced liteon and this one actually is quieter and seams faster but that's probably my imagination with it burning at the same speed and all
