The European Union's top court has ruled that Nintendo cannot prevent the use of hacking equipment on its consoles, except in case of illegally THE SITE THAT CANNOT BE MENTIONED FOR LEGAL REASONS video games. When PC Box started unlocking Nintendo's consoles to offer extra features, Nintendo tried to put a stop to it in court. However the court rejected an appeal by Nintendo to stop the Italian company selling Nintendo's consoles with additional equipment allowing jailbreaking of the devices.
