    So there's a bethesda sale going on for xbox one and I'm curious to know if The Elder Scrolls online is worth the $40?

    Yes, They got rid of the monthly subscription. The game is now buy to play.

    I wouldn't mind trying it out myself.
    I'm assuming it's just like World of Warcraft, but Skyrim looks.

    I brought it on released and bashed that game for about a week then got bored...

    So I wouldn't suggest getting it unless you're prepared to grind and grind hard.
