Question? I see a lot of posts asking a lot of the same questions about "Is it safe to play?". Could we just make a sticky of it? I just ask because each game that comes out ahead of schedule, someone might post something sooner or later asking "Is this safe to play?" That is why I think a sticky should be created explaining some risks on what might happen if they play early so they will not have to ask this question so much. Just my opinion.
Nice Idea but i think it's pointless to be honest as its common sense really. Its a persons risk on playing a game early and XPG doesn't hold responsibility if the user is banned
I understand XPGEVO85, but why do so many people have to create a topic asking if it is safe to play? I understand and use common sense myself, well never mind, at least you understood.
Probably because they are scared of getting banned but that comes with the territory of having a modded console really. If you don't wanna play them early don't
I always wait until midnight Eastern time, at that point it's being sold. If you have to ask "is it okay to play," it's probably not.
There you go M4H! I understand what you mean, but I was just suggesting that if there was something for them to read and have stickied, people should not ask this. But of course that is where common sense kicks in. It is almost like people have to have an example of that "Piracy Disclaimer" that come up when watching videos
I learned my lesson more than once over the years, Fracture, Halo 3 beta with Scar, and probably another 2-3 games. And I did play Halo 4 on the Saturday before the Tuesday release and yes I had a LEGIT retail disc and I was still nervous. With all that said if you are willing to take the risk of having your account/xbox ban just to show everyone on your friends list that you are playing early than by all means do it. Me, now days it's not worth the cost of a KV or new box. I'll hop on the Jtag and play on the live network over there. Play early at your own risk if not play offline on a another copy of your profile and update it when the game comes out.
Yeah, the answer is that it is never "safe" until the release date. I don't really see the point in sticky-ing a thread saying just that.
what i will start doing is when i post up a new release i will post up on whether its online safe or not, 9 times out of 10 its just common sense, but hopefully it will clear up and help towards stopping alot of "is it safe" threads
I agree.. It's common sense.. It is great to have the games before release not online but a even better feeling to be able to just wait and be online release day with everyone else.. And not have trouble finding the game.. That is a great well worth feeling Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
