    What is iOS 7.1 Untethered Jailbreak Status?

    Did you updated your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to iOS 7.1? Earlier this month Apple has released iOS 7.1 which includes much-needed improvements to the Touch ID fingerprint, fixing to screen crashing issue, CarPlay support and many more new features and tweaks.

    In an earlier post we told you that iOS 7.1 update has patched the exploit used on Evasi0n 7 untethered jailbreak, and Musclnerd has warned jailbreak fans from upgrading to iOS 7.1 in order to not lose iOS 7 untethered jailbreak.


    What is the status of iOS 7.1 untethered jailbreak?

    Well, the famous iOS hacker Winocm, has announced on his Twitter account that he achieved good progress on iOS 7.1 jailbreak for iPhone 4.


    Actually, he didn't confirm whether he achieved the same progress on the other iOS devices (iPhone 5S/5C/5/4S, iPad Air, 4, 3, iPad mini 2, 1) or not. And also he didn't clarify whether it is untethered or not.

    Anyway, Evad3rs and some other hackers are working hard now to find a solution for iOS 7.1 untethered jailbreak.

    Thats good news alright!

    I use an iPhone 4, but im considering dropping my jailbreak, simply because SkyGo doesnt work :(

    Wish someody could figure that out!

    What he currently has is untethred because i remember in previous tethered jailbreaks one of the things when you haven't connected your device to the pc to tether it you cannot open safari cydia and something else i forgot :) i am still on 7.0.2 on my iPhone5

    Untethered= No Need To Connect To PC When It Turns Off

    Tethered= You Have To Connect Your iDevice To A PC Every Time It Turns Off, To Make Cydia/Tweaks, Safari, Mail And Others To Work Properly Again..

    My iPhone 5 Is Currently On 7.0.4
    I Will Evade The Update If You Want A Jailbreak..

    have a look for a tweak in cydia called Xcon it bypasses jailbreak detection m8

    Actually there are about 5 different ways to jailbreak the iphone 4 with 7.1 and I have only had the phone for 20 min and already found plenty of ways.
