Try this link for your FFXIII question: http://www.xpgamesav...d/#.UOtim6WcPcY *Not the recommended way but a workaround for FFXIII
You're right, there's alot to learn to completely understand RGH/JTAG consoles. You'll see that it's not that hard.
Yay! happiest day of my life. Been struggling a lot because I had no one to talk about this. Checking out the links you gave me as well.
I have checked the Final Fantasy XIII Game. The folder name is Final Fantasy XIII Disc 2 and all the disc are installed in it. Weird.
Yeah, the old way of playing games like that was to combine all the files into one folder. This worked for a few games but was not consistent. The best way is to create folders for each disc and place them inside Final Fantasy XIII folder. Then update to the latest FSD and allow it to auto swap, or the latest versions of Dashlaunch have a swap feature as well. That is the method I would recommend.
Ugh, how will I update the FSD? Will it be safe to do it alone here? It won't update anything on this console? Sorry I ask too many questions.
No such thing as too many questions, rather you ask them than try to proceed without enough information. Yes you can update FSD rather easy. Check this tutorial created by another member: http://www.xpgamesav...h/#.UOtrvaWcPcZ
Thanks. I just don't want you guys irritated with a lot of my questions. My boyfriend kind of freaks out when I ask questions because he said I have too many things to ask. Hehehe. Dowloaded files & will follow the tutorial.
Not a problem, Crizzy. When you get a chance, consider introducing yourself in the introduction section. This site is addictive and will quickly become a permanent addition to your daily browsing.
Seems like it. I enjoyed talking to you guys and I learn more. Will check out the introduction section.
Ohhh, will accept it once I go online on Skype. I have rarely used that but I bet we will be talking a lot. hehehe. I've got sooo many questions. LOL
ok firstly what dash is your xbox currently on? to check this press the xbox globe in the center of you controller, press y to load xbox dashboard, hold down RB and press yes while continuing to hold down RB. your official xbox dash should now load. go to system settings, system info and see what dash you are on. if you want to update to your nand then you would need the tools programmer linked to. after you have dumped your nand with flash360, updated your nand on your computer with xebuild and then to flash your new nand you can either use flash360 again to write the nand or you can name the file updflash.bin and place it on the root of a usb, turn on your xbox by pressing the eject button and letting xell flash it for you automatically. now that that is done you can update your freestyle dash and dashlaunch. to do that the easiest way is to follow the instructions in this thread http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/50709-f3-installer-freestyle-dash-v3/#.UOxS2HdH3ZY now that will get your dashlaunch and freestyle dash update to the latest version now download any type of free ftp program to your computer. filezilla, flashfxp both work fine. in freestyle dash you will see your xbox's IP address in the bottom left hand corner. type this into the server box of either or the ftp programs. the u/n:xbox p/w:xbox and press connect. now you should see a games folder. in the games folder set up your FFXIII as such games\FFXIII\Disc 1\disk 1 files here games\FFXIII\Disc 2\disk 2 files here games\FFXIII\Disc ..... and so on and so on. this will make it so the built in disc swapper plugin will swap the disks for you automatically now.
