How to use custom shapes from Photoshop in Illustrator [TUTORIAL]

    Something that i find useful when designing is using the custom shapes tool. This is not available in Illustrator but there is a way to use them in the program as long as you have Photoshop & Illustrator installed.

    1. Open up Photoshop & Illustrator and make new document's in both programs.

    2. Select the custom shape tool in Photoshop and draw the shape you want.

    3. As soon as you have drawn your shape, go to Edit > Copy.

    4. Go to your illustrator document and select Edit > Paste, and you will be presented with the below screen. Choose 'OK'.

    5. Now you have the shape in Illustrator and you can select the colour from the colour palette. Now you have the shape in illustrator it will not reduce in quality no matter what size you scale it.
