How To Update your RGH-Jtag to 17148 in 1-2 minutes!

Oh it did not exactly crashed, it actually successfully updated to the kernel17148 version, the only problem is that my freestyle dash is no more as it directly launches into the default xbox home screen and I can't use my kinect because it says that my console needs an update.

Just updated using your tut and everything went fine except dashlaunch 313 wont work for me. I went back to 312 and it would'nt work either. I got my copy of 313 from another tut(16767) so Im gonna download your 313 and see if it works.

Some people are having issues some are not, if you download the GUI version you will not have any issues whatsoever, check the op for links

 

Your dashlaunch 313 wont work either. I don't want to go back to 16767, so I guess I am stuck until the new dashlaunch comes out. I'm not really pressed. I don't go online except for LINK so I will survive. Hope they don't take too long for the new dashlaunch tho! Tanx for the info!

Did you even read my reply, the files you need, there is a link to them, check the OP, there should be a BIG link down the bottom saying having problems with dashlaunch? click that, now you should see a post there with links to xeBuild GUI.

 

That's the thing, I don't like the old school way with xebuild. I only update the automated way. What should I do?

 

The GUI is the safest and Guaranteed way to do this with your RGH, all files needed are included in the GUI, just run it, open your nand, open your cpu key, select 2.0.17148.0 and then click Generate nand image. thats it your done, now to put it on your box, put the nand file onto the root of a usb drive, rename it to updflash.bin and insert it into your RGH, power on console and leave it alone until it flashes, thats it, your completely finished.

 

That above is how I had to do it and it worked spot on

 

Can I use the automated tut of going back to 16767?

 

OK. I am flashing my nand backup that I made before I updated. I am using flash 360 and when I get to the flash screen it says that my nand is not zero paired. should I go ahead and continue? This is a fresh nand backup before I went to 17148. So am I cool?
