Hey Guys I am a noobe in need of help please. I have an Xbox Trinity, RGH, MFG 2010 Had the 2.0.14719.0 kernel dash Purchased ass creed rogue and would not play. Updated the kernel dash to 2.0.16747 (which was the newest ) on XeBuild Swizzy Soft 2.093 Used Simple 360 dash nand flasher to dump and flash the kernels. I have been using the standard xbox dash, but I do have FSD 3 installed. I don't know how to get FSD 3 to load on start up. I have also downloaded dash launcher. I use XEX menu as well. I used Xell to get the CPU key. I do not have the avatars due to the update. I have tried downloading the update ($systemupdate), put it in the root of my USB and inserted it into the Xbox, rebooted and the xbox does not pick it up. I have tried changing the name of the folder. (extra $, systemupdate, with an S and without) basically everything I have tried has not worked. I would like to get the avatar back, change it so that FSD 3 loads at start up and set it up on the internet network. ( not xbox live) I can play ass creed but without the cd it has glitches and no avatars. Please help. We have been at this for many days now and it is frustrating. I have followed many videos and instructions. Perhaps I could start over. I am not sure. Thank you in advanced. Elsie :O)
go into dashlaunch and set fsd.xex as default (you could also just edit your launch.ini and point it to the directory of the fsd3.xex), make sure to save your .ini before exiting dashlaunch. As for the avatar updates, I set mine as $$ystemupdate and it works fine however I have not updated since 16537 so its been some time. Good luck mate
I edited launch.ini and got the FSD 3 on boot up. But all of our games that are on the hard drive do not come up and how do we get the covers for the games? I have tried the double $$ signs, and it works now!! Yay, awesome. Thanks
You will need to set your game paths again to get it working again. Use the search on the site there is a few tuts on how to doit.
