Hey everyone! With the release of iOS 8.0 on the apple development center today I thought I'd go ahead and make this tutorial for users wanting iOS 8.0 but don't want to register as a developer nor want to register their UDID. So without further adieu.. The tutorial.

    Step 1 :

Download the .IPSW file pertaining to your specific iDevice.

    Download Page (Provided by IMZDL)
Devices that can update to iOS 8

    Step 2 :

Open iTunes and check that it's the newest version - 11.2.2.3

    Step 3 :

Backup your iDevice, and then while holding "Shift" ("Option" on Mac I believe), click on "Check for Update". Locate your .IPSW file you downloaded earlier and click "Open". The update will begin.

    Step 4 :

Do not touch your iDevice or iTunes. Let the process finish and update your device.

    Step 5 :

Once the updating has finished, you should now be running iOS 8.0 Beta 1 on your iDevice.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them. I will get back to you ASAP. If you run into an activation error in iTunes, just Shift+Click Check for Update and do the process over again.

    Cheers.

I got it the first time I did it too. There's no sure-fire way to get around it besides trying again.
