How to Play MGSV Phantom Pain From an External HDD/Pendrive [Tutorial]

Its not a problem with the game its your PC that has the problem.

If you Google "msvcr100.dll missing" you will find loads of info on how to sort the problem out

 

Go to DLL website just Google it , type in what your missing msvcr100.DLL download the RAR file, paste it in SysWOW64 folder in C:\ Drive. Restart PC and then try. It might be in System32 folder but you need to place it in SysWOW 64 folder that sounds like your problem mate.

 

This is not the best way to solve the problem. If you copy .dll like this, you have to register it manually. Open cmd and type

regsvr32 MSVCR100.dll
But i suggest you to reinstall visual c++ 2010 runtime.

Help please. I am confused about the cmd prompt part. Everytime I type cd c:\master\ef. I get this message "The system cannot find the path specified." Please clarify anyone.My ef file is located in the desktop then MGS folder then master folder.Tia.

Open cmd with shift+right click on the ef folder

Do all again from scratch. Follow the guide till point 5, then simply double clic the join.bat and it will do all by itself.

 

I complete join the file 77fe67b0ff6b88a.dat . I follow the guide complete. But game still not sound, i don't know why. Please up file 77fe67b0ff6b88a.dat for me. Thanks very much.

 

Help me it doesn't create a new 77fe67b0ff6b88a.dat over 1gb, it creates a 77e669ec815e58f folder, a bat and tmp archive. It skips 77fe67b0ff6b88a.dat because it says the qar tool's version is incorrect ? Please help me

Good day to all. Was unable to unpack both .inf items. But when doing the last part: MSGV_QAR_Tool.exe 77fe67b0ff6b88a.inf -u -r -e2. MSGV QAR tool crashed. Thanks for the reply.

I have a question re: tthis part:
Step 6 : Now move all files from 77e669ec815e58f folder to 77fe67b0ff6b88a folder. Open 77e669ec815e58f.inf and delete "QARversion=24" (1st line). And replace all 77e669ec815e58f to 77fe67b0ff6b88a like this.....
.....After deleting the 1st line and replacing 77e669ec815e58f to 77fe67b0ff6b88a...Should I close the notepad and save it or should I leave it open.And when should I use the batch file: findstr /v "QARversion=24" 77e669ec815e58f.inf > 77e669ec815e58f.inf.tmp in the command prompt,is it after deleting and replacing the files or after saving and closing the notepad?Pls help....Thanks...Noob here.

do i still need "77e669ec815e58f.dat" or can it be deleted ?
also is this correct "77fe67b0ff6b88a.dat" rebuilt MD5: cd46514b7a63b9d32905f8f66dcaabca
