I know this thread is a couple days old, but I figured I would give a post here and see what happens anyway. :| I'm trying to mod some of my gear, but I'm having issues doing so. Every time I try and locate the piece of gear I want to mod, I can't find it. My latest attempt was on a Legendary Staff, The Tormentor.

I had the staff in my characters inventory, the only item, unequipped, and on the character (Not in the stash). I extracted my save from Horizon, decrypted it with d3decrypter, opened it in HxD, and tried searching for the ID with ctrl+F and nothing. I keep getting a 'not found' message. I made sure I was searching a hex value, I got the item ID from Viperx420's thread. I also got the ID number off d3db.com converted it into hex, and reversed it, and it was the same ID as what Viper had listed.

This is the second item I've tried to find, and can't. Any tips? :wtf:

The Tormentor was the most recent item.

I already have the ID, its saying that it can't be found though, that's my issue.
