Read previous messages. Your going wrong somewhere. Sounds like you didn't manually do it. ;)

Transfer the folder with 4 files in it manually through FSD using file manager. From USB or external to HDD/Content/0000000/000002/folder/4files

    that's it ?

because i am having a black screen after the loading screen.

you can play this game using the da3 method, just have to put the 1,9gb;1,4gb;900mb;37mb files inside the ef folder, and also put the 1f8a folder and foxfs.dat inside the master folder. Then you can play the game but with no audio(still trying to fix this).

i dont get the "please install disc 1" with op method but i am having a black screen just like ZoSo. 60gb HDD and 500gb external HDD. runing from the xex no luck. i think that the 4 instal files are corrupted . i am downloading the dvd1 again.

i dont have the 1f8a folder, is it on the dvd1 or 2 ?

Yes, I've got it. I'm playing MGS with external HD, however without sound :( . I just extract The 4 archives from Horizon and replace them (.dot) inside the past master and the past "ef" as well. Sorry my English kkkkkk.

Shouldn't be corrupted. Just put them over manually through FSD to the HDD, also did you remove the System Update folder from your main game folder on external. Worth a shot.

I have an rgh xbox with a big 1TB hdd as the drive in it that I have a bunch of games installed on. Would the same process work for that or would I have to do something differently? I haven't been able to get the game to work.. It always said it needed to completely install, etc. I'm trying your method right now but I'm just FTPing the files onto my xbox drive. Really hope it works... lol any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Put the main game folder on a usb 8+ if you have one, and put the content files over to your internal HDD 1TB manually through FSD. ;)
