Step4: This will now extend your gold membership by a month (usually a month) PLEASE NOTE!!This will swap your currency to whatever region you changed it to. You will get that region's ads. You can't change your region back for 6 months. Some of these draw backs can be a pain in the butt, but are nothing too gameplay impacting, especially if you can't afford your next subscription of gold! Not tested on 360 yet sorry but i'm can't see why it wont work.
so you change your region for only 1 month of free gold? you can only do this trick once every 6 months? and if you change from us to uk the games are usually more expensive switching to their currency, i'm almost certain uk people pay more for their video games than us.
I done this 4 months ago because I was sick of paying uk prices being in the uk ,I switched to USA having 4 months left on Xbox live Gold. It said something back then about 6 month Switch Region Offer. Down sides you cannot download region locked games to a UK console.
or simply created a new profile which automatically gives u a free month and make sure afterwards that u go to subscriptions and cancel monthly renewal so they dont take it off the card. then once done add that gammertag to ur family and there u go every profile on ur xb1 now has full access to gold privileges
