Homefront: The Revolution didn't exactly blow us away when it released last May, but publisher Deep Silver and developer Dambuster Studios have been vigilant with supporting the title with updates and DLC expansions. They're making their biggest push yet with the Spring Update, a series of enhancements which aim to please long-term fans while also recruiting newcomers to the Second American Revolution.

Beyond the Walls, available now, is the third entry in Homefront's narrative-based DLC offerings, after The Voice of Freedom and Aftermath. This final DLC will take players outside of Philadelphia and into scenic Pennsylvania, where the resistance will launch one last, desperate push against the oppressive Korean People's Army. Beyond the Walls is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It costs $12.99 on its own, or as part of the $24.99 Expansion Pass. Conveniently for PS4 owners, the Expansion Pass is on sale this week for only $16.74.

Deep Silver is also offering a free trial to new players. Starting on March 14, the first chapter of the single-player experience will be free to all PS4 and Xbox One players. Even better, the entirety of Resistance Mode, including all post-launch content, will be made free to console players. This co-op multiplayer mode sees teams of four tackling bite-sized missions against KPA forces.

Finally, PS4 Pro players will receive a dedicated patch tailored to the powerful hardware, boosting resolution to a native 1440p, improving the frame rate, and adding HDR support for all PS4 users.
