Every time I try to mod my NBA 2k12 gamesave for the Skill Points, it gives me an error once I have put the file back onto my Xbox hard drive and try to play the game. It gives me some kind of error message (I don't remember what it said exactly) and then it tells me to start a new save. I've tried doing it the hex way, and I've tried doing it with the program provided on this forums. I guess I'm just wondering if it's been patched, or if I'm just an idiot who's too tired to figure out what the hell he's doing wrong. Anyways, somebody please help!!
some gamesaves need to be resigned/rehashed after modding them. What tool did you use? Some tools rehash/resign them automatically and some dont.
Try resigned & Rehash more then once it usually helps. If it does not help try clearing your system cache.
I'll try that out then get back to you, thanks. [UPDATE] - I did what you suggested and it's doing the same thing. I also tried loading the file instead of resuming it and it gave me the same error. I think all hope is lost.
