Hi guys! I'm hoping someone can provide some help. I have got an iPhone 3GS for my son and have jailbroken it, I need to unlock it as it is currently on orange and he needs it on O2. The phone is on IOS 6.1.6 and I have installed the ipad baseband along with P0sixpwn for untethering and ultrasn0w to unlock the carrier, however after installing Ultrasn0w I get nothing but "No Service" even with the original carrier sim card, I tried downgrading from the iPad baseband and still having the same thing happen. I have jailbroken and unlocked many 3g and 3gs in the past and never had this issue. Can anyone offer some advice please?
Have you tried restoring it and trying again? If what you're telling me is true, than you're doing it correctly. If a restore doesn't work it might just be a hardware issue.
Yeah I have tried restoring and starting again multipul times and it's still not working so unfortunately I think you may be right. its messed up as it will receive signal with the original carrier sim but as soon as I use ultrasn0w it just wont receive anything. its cool if I cant get it to unlock he will just have to change to orange if he really wants it lol if not I might try to either trade with someone I know who is already on orange or sell it and get him another off ebay or somthing. Hopefully I can figure something out but its cool I got until June before his birthday to get it sorted so got a while to figure something out. Thanks for the reply mate.
