I'm not sure where to post this, but I am in need of a bit of help. I haven't modded my xbox for quite some time, so can anyone explain to me what I'm doing wrong. Something might have changed since I've done it last. I've been trying to copy old gamsaves to my new profile, as well as mod them to get some achivements (all offline first). However, when I do everything (correctly) the new profile won't read the gamesaves and simply start back at square one. I'm 100% sure ID's are correct. What I did; Copied the save to a USB Opened it in modio Rehashed and Resigned with my new profile ID Saved back to device Copied to HDD Opened it with my new profile This is really frusturating. It doesn't work with ANY game. I'm using the new xbox BETA dashboard if that helps.
Well I didn't see you mention it so I assume you just put your game saves back on to your HDD which won't work. They must go in a profile folder specific to the profile your putting them on. An easy way to see what the folder is is to; save new data of the game your trying to move under the new profile. bring your HDD to your computer, explore it, and find the folder for that game with the new profile put your game from your old profile into the same folder as the new saved data I have transferred a couple games this way so it should work.
Instead of copying it to your HDD try loading it from you USB and make sure you put the New save into the savegame folder of your game or open your profile on modio then go to Content then overwrite the old save to the new modded save but make sure u have the Profile ID and Console ID the same as your profiles mate , Thank and Vote my post up if I have help buddy If you have any other problems just PM me mate
