On Friday, Dec. 11, 343 Industries went on Twitch to live stream an exclusive first-look at "Halo 5: Guardians'" December DLC, the Cartographer's Gift. The developer also teased a new DLC for January and daily reward. New add-on content for 2016, 343 Industries teased next month's add-on content toward the end of its livestream (video below) last week. "Halo 5: Guardians" players can expect to receive new armor skins as part of the new add-on content.
Based on screenshots, these will include a bald eagle rifle skin, a pistol with a howling wolf emblem, and new duds for both the Red and Blue teams. According to GameRant, January 2016's DLC should also include new modes, maps, and REQ packs. However, the full details of the expansion pack have yet to be revealed by the developer.
As for this month's new DLC, the Cartographer's Gift brings a Forge mode, a new arena, a new warzone, two new maps, two new sets of armor, new emblems, and new weapons. According to GameSpot, it will release sometime this week. Daily multiplayer incentives:
In addition to the first DLC of 2016, 343 Industries is taking more measures to hook players even more to put in long hours into playing "Halo 5: Guardians." It has recently given free REQ packs to players who participated and won in the new multiplayer modes, Arena and Warzone. This is a preview of what its new daily multiplayer incentive program that will soon reward the game's most loyal players will look like.
