The $249 Limited Collector's Edition includes a numbered, commemorative statue designed specifically by the developers. The news comes to Design & Trend via the "Halo 5 Guardians" Limited Collector's Edition page on Amazon, as well as tweets from 343's "Halo 5: Guardians" studio head. With regard to the Limited Collector's Edition specifically, Amazon says that the special set will include "the Limited Edition as well as a commemorative, numbered statue designed by 343 Industries." The design of the statue has not been revealed, but it will be one of many rare objects included with the purchase of the package. As for the Limited Edition materials that will also be inside, Xbox Wire said in December that that slightly cheaper collection offers "new digital content to enhance Spartan combat and exclusive items wrapped in a uniquely designed steel book." Those that pre-order the standard $60 version of "Halo 5: Guardians" will even be privy to a limited edition poster. Beyond those cursory mentions, 343 Industries has not specifically announced what will be inside the steel book. The Limited Collector's Edition retails for $249, while the Limited Edition is priced at $99.However, not every "Halo 5: Guardians" gamer needs to buy an extended collection to have a larger than life experience. 343 Studio Head Josh Holmes mentioned in January that the final build of the multiplayer suite will feature "a lot more" in the way of character customization. In the man's own words, December's "beta was a sliver of what we have planned." In the "Halo 5: Guardians" multiplayer beta, players enjoyed a few customization selections on the basis of visors, body armor, helmets and overall colors. Holmes implies that there will be more to find in each of these fields and that there may be additional menu options to make Spartans look more unique to the individual.
