Well, hello folks. Im not totally sure i should be posting here or not but a mod directed me here so ... First of all, im a total noob when it comes to consoles, i never had one nor do i intend to but a friend of mine has one and he asked me to figure out how to add games to it. I am a PC guy, i had one since i was little but consoles are just "complicated". I cant for the lord, figure out how to add games to this. Ive been trying for a week now with no success so please help! I've also read the tutorials for these 2 games that are on this site but, no offence to those awesome ppl that wrote them, they didnt make much sense to me. Also, i have xex menu installed and ive updated my dash by following the tut on these forums. The console in question is an XBOX:360 Slim so i assume its an RGH. Both games are on my PC, each having 2 dvds in ISO format. What do i need to post here (screenshots, more info, whatever) in order to make it easier for you folks to help me out?
Move to JTAG/RGH section plz add as much info on what you are trying to do so more can see from your point of view and offer help in needed.
yeah pls add more info not sure what to say. Some games do need the lasted kernel but gta v should work on the latest one. If they are in iso format need to be in rgh / jtag format. Now there are many tools that can extract the files from the iso to make the folder for jtags to play them. If you want links for rips ready made for jtags to play pm me.
You accidentaly moved the thread into the Gold RGH section and the user requesting help does not have Gold.
This may help. Get Xbox backup creator and extract the both Iso's to DVD 1 DVD 2. Then just copy the content folder from Disc 1 to your content on your HDD. And move Disc 2 to your games folder on your RGH.
To be honest, your best bet is to go-to EBGames if you've got it in your country, purchase GTA V, Install it onto FS3, than get your money back within the 7 day period. Reason for this is because when you install a game onto your HDD, it will install onto your xex menu and FS3 allowing you to run it without the disc. Hope this helped!
If you're lazy to transfer games to your HDD you can just put in onto a USB. This is just an alternative in case you've tried everything else to install GTA V on your console: 1. Configure an Xbox 360 USB (least 16GB) and make backups of your DVDs if you want (it won't hurt, just to be safe) 2. Plug it to your computer and open Horizon. 3. Inject the 4 content files from DVD1 to the Games folder of your USB 4. Wait. 5. Convert your DVD2 to GoD format (ISO2GOD preferred) and inject the single "7AA7931FF6863459F017" file to the Games folder using Horizon 6. Wait. 7. Plug the USB back to your Xbox 360 8. Done. It should appear on your NXE dashboard. If it doesn't work, instead of using Horizon, try USBXTAFGUI. Good luck
DON'T HIJACK OTHER PEOPLES THREADS, IN FUTURE PLEASE CREATE A SEPERATE THREAD OF YOUR OWN. This isn't possible. Just because you have a LT3.0 doesn't mean anything this just allows you to play backups.
