NEW GTA 5 Online updates are coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC, starting with a new vehicle launch.

A new series of GTA 5 Online updates are set to land, following the release of last week’s Cunning Stunts: Special Vehicle Circuit, which is now live on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

This included 20 new tracks, each custom made for the unique abilities of the Ruiner 2000, Rocket Voltic and Blazer Aqua.

A new Supercar was also added for the more traditional races, with the Progen GP1 now available to purchase in-game.

And looking to the future, Rockstar provided a few pointers on what will be released in the coming weeks.

A mix of new vehicles, Adversary Modes and creator content is set to be launched, ahead of the big GTA 5 Online summer DLC release.

It’s a similar pattern to what the studio have used in the past, fleshing out gaps between major updates with a car release each week, usually paired with an Adversary Mode.

This will mean the likes of the Turismo Classic and the Infernus Classic, as well as the Resurrection and Top Down Adversary Modes.

It appears that Rockstar plan to launch the Ruston first, followed by the Infernus and finally the Turismo.

And while we can’t guarantee it will launch alongside a new Adversary Mode, there is a chance that the new Resurrection dodgeball-type game could land later this week.

It will likely be followed by Top Down, described as a nostalgic homage to the 2D GTA era with some explosive twists.

There is likely a few more being worked on, as well as new vehicles that haven’t been announced.

“Look for even more updates coming to GTA Online in the weeks ahead, including additions to the Creator like new Stunt Race props and the ability to concoct your own Special Vehicle Races for the Rocket Voltic, Ruiner 2000, and Blazer Aqua,” a message from Rockstar explains.

“Plus crazy new modes like Resurrection and Top Down, as well as a collection of oft-requested classic GTA rides - including one particularly morbid muscle car.”

The first GTA 5 Online update is expected to arrive later this week on Tuesday, March 21, for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The summer will see the release of new weaponised vehicles as part of the gun runner update and likely the last big content drop for the game before the arrival of Red Dead Redemption 2.
