PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is one of the biggest games of 2017. While it takes heavy inspiration from other games like H1Z1, DayZ, and more, it has managed to become the best of its genre and take over Steam and Twitch completely. If you're active on Twitter and follow a lot of people who play video games, you've likely seen them talking about PUBG.

Many have predicted that other developers would begin to replicate the success of the 1 vs 99 survival game in the coming years but one notable company has already jumped the gun and released their take on the game. Grand Theft Auto V players can jump online right now and play the Motor Wars adversary mode which sees four teams parachute into the map and scavenge for items like weapons or weaponized vehicles. While all of this is going on, the map will periodically shrink forcing players to move closer to each other.

The mode comes as part of the new Smuggler's Run update which invites players to transport illegal goods via the skies of San Andreas. Seven new planes have been added with the update and players can now purchase a hanger with a workshop to customize their planes.

In related news, we recently learned of new information regarding Rockstar Games' plans for Bully 2 and their long awaited Cold War spy game, Agent. You can click here to read it.

Grand Theft Auto V is now available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
