Apparently, the studio was drafted in to help with "a lot of the level design stuff", veteran Gears dev Rod Fergusson told Game Informer."Especially with meshing of multiplayer maps, we're tapping into the expertise they got from Gears of War: Ultimate Edition," Fergusson explained. "They also have a lot of expertise with online systems, in terms of matchmaking from Ultimate Edition ... They basically had to rewrite for Xbox One."Gears of War 4's multiplayer beta Early Access will run from 18th April until 24th April, before the beta is thrown open for all Xbox Live Gold players on 25th April to 1st May on Xbox One
