Gamesharing help

    Not sure where this goes but heres my problem

    I gameshared with a guy and everything went well, he can play the game he downloaded off me but when i try to play the one he gave me it asks me if i own the game? i did everything right and followed this guide

    When you downloaded his account did you set his account as your consoles home ?

    Well seems to me he may have changed it back to his console. Best thing to do is set it as your home again and boot the game.

    If it happens again i would message him see whats going on as to me he maybe pulling a fast one on you.

    Also for me i would only game share with friends you trust.

    Ok so set it as home again try it, there should be no reason at all to why its not working.

    Unless he has used up all his home consoles (3)

    I just checked and i cant make make my gamertag have my home console anymore (GS scammers) is that why?

    He game shared with me, I have only game shared once since I got my console (last Christmas) So I haven't use all of mine. I didn't set my account back to home, should I do that?
    I'm trying to help him, but I really don't know why it's doing this.

    Yeah.. if were not suppose to set our xbox's back as our home then it should work..

    Thats right your not supposed to set it back as home after you have done or it will remove it from the other console.

    Also if you have used all 3 up you can phone MS support (Numbers in 360 section) DON'T tell them your game sharing just say you have sold your console but since got another but can't set it as home.
    They will reset it for you ;)

    Awesome. Thank you, we will have to try to redo this. I chatted with them and they reset it. Thank you, hopefully this works once he comes back online. Is there a guide here that i can follow? I did everything in that guide but it didint work.

    Just recover his account to your console, Signin on his account and go to settings then click set as home console.
    You will see the games in your download history.

    Get him to do the same with your account. When done sign back in on your profile and DON'T touch set as home lol get him to do the same = profit ;)
