Gaining achievements

    Hey,

    Just a quick question, is there any possible way to illegitimately gain achievements via software and not via game saves?

    The reason I ask is I'm quite anal when it comes to my games being completed and my brother decided to use my account to play FIFA 12 and he unlocked an achievement, I'm terrible on football games and now it's sat ruining my list with 35G/1000G :(

    I remember hearing somewhere about a computer program that lets you mod your achievements. Does anyone else know anything about this?

    Yes there is profile editors out there just be careful with these and don;t unlock too many chievos at one time

    There are load of programs that can mod your GS but by modding it you can get your GS reset

    Yeah I'm aware of the risks. Do you guys know the name of a reliable one? I'd probably unlock one every few days to be careful.

    from what i've seen with editing achievements is it doesn't fully unlock it as i tried it once on a back up account i cloned and tried it and a proper unlocked achievement has the picture but a software unlocked achievement kept it locked but achieved, so i think thats how MS finds out if you have modded it or not

    i could well be wrong but thats what i noticed when i tested it once

    when I've used an achievement unlocker, I gained the achievement pictures as soon as I've come online and it was fine, never had the problem that BooBoo Kitty had. I've tried exProfileEditor and it works pretty good. You also have to make sure that you timestamp online achievements if you decide to unlock those in the list of achievements for the game so that it looks legit and does not get your gamerscore reset.

    You want to remove the game from your list? There is no way if the profile is live, cheevos can only be added to, not removed from xbox live.

    Actually, even if the profile is live, if he didn't sign into live and the achievements were acquired while offline, he could get rid of the achievements by just recovering his profile.
