Setting up Freestyle Dash You just got FSD up and running so what next ........ 1- Welcome to freestyle dash 3, if you dont see the top and bottom part where it shows the heat of the console, usb drives and on the bottom ip, status and date and time.. press R3 in and it should pop up. pressing L3 makes a screen shot 2- on some tvs it will be streched out .. lets fix that so go down to setup, then go to system settings, then go down to over scan.. press a and it will take you to vertical, set this up to where u can see everything perfectly on the screen 3- now if your console tempture is high set the fan speeds up a little i have mine at 80 and i dont mind the noise. some people leave it on auto but i dont trust it.. 4- now lets set up content settings, go back by pressing b and go to content settings. 5- now go down to Manage Game Path press A 6- more menus came up right? ok now click on Change Path. 7- a menu pops up, you will want to go to usb0 8- now go to applications and press A and then press Y after u press y it will take you back to the menu 9- now move over to the scan depth and bring it to like 3 or 4 just incase and then go down and pick other or homebew on both sides then press X and it will take you back a screen 10- now press y again to add a new path. and do Games but change scan depth to 2.. you dont want to have to scan past the main folders of each game so it can find the default.xex of a game.. it is usually in the main folder of each game. so scan depth can be 1 or 2 if no games list in the games section, raise the scan depth and rescan 11- do the same for XBLA but scan dept i set that to at least 5 cause i have my games in seperated folders for each letter of the alpha bet.
