You might have noticed that Forza Motorsport 6 has received microtransactions lately, in the form of Forza Tokens, just like Forza Horizon 2, and several Forza games before it. As you'd expect, Tokens allow you to pay real money to purchase cars in-game, and unlock packs of cards that grant race mods.Tokens were announced in the latest update on the Forza Motorsport site, and they're available in packs of 100 for $0.99/£0.79 all the way up to a pack of 20,000 for $99.99/£64.99. Modestly priced cars like the Fiat Abarth 500 cost somewhere in the region of 45 Tokens, while an Audi R18 race car will set you back 3001 Tokens.Of course, like most microtransactions, you can ignore Forza Motorsport 6 Tokens entirely, and simply participating in races will earn you plenty of credits with which to purchase cars. If you can't be bothered to wait and accumulate credits, however, Tokens provide an alternative, faster option for unlocking cars.
