Not too bad of edits. I just find the text not to be that pleasant within the image. Don't be afraid to have it cover more of the image. After all, it's about you, not the animal.

I like it, The changes you should consider editing are the odd lines by your name as they make the signature looked like it's been tiled by layers. Edit: I think you should leave it the way it is, now that I think about it that could be your unique trademark as a GFX Designer! As for the typeface you should use something nice and simple to go with these like I did here to one of my friend's signatures Spoiler Or this one I submitted in a SOM on another site.
